The Problem
Warning signs
- Improperly spaced standards (exceeding 16 inches) leading to shelf sagging under load; misaligned top tracks causing uneven shelves.
Our Diagnosis
Standard prefabricated components required modification to fit specific closet dimensions and corner transitions while maintaining structural integrity.
How We Fixed It
- 1
Conducted detailed layout mapping to ensure optimal placement. 2. Installed wall-mounted top tracks and standards at 16-inch intervals for maximum load-bearing capacity. 3. Precision-cut shelving components to clear walls and fit corner transitions. 4. Installed and adjusted brackets and shelving units. 5. Performed final leveling and site cleanup.
How to Prevent This
- Always secure the top track into studs where possible and use high-quality toggle bolts for standards not aligned with studs. Use a dedicated metal file or deburring tool after cutting wire shelving to prevent snagging on clothing.
