Bookcase/cabinets Removal & Relocate HVAC Vents

University Park Texas

Living room with recessed lighting, brown built-in bookcases, white sofas, wood coffee table, and a carved stone fireplace.

The Challenge

A client in the living room wanted a fresh start — two large built-in bookcases gone and the space restored like they were never there. Easy to say, a lot of work to deliver. We demoed and removed both units, relocated the affected outlets, and got to work on making the walls and floors whole again. That meant a large drywall patch with texture matching, sanding and refinishing the hardwood floor that had been hiding under the cabinets for years, staining new baseboards to blend seamlessly with the existing trim, and painting the walls for a clean, finished look. The result was a living room that looked completely original — no trace of the old built-ins, just a open, refreshed space the client could make their own. Services performed: Carpentry & Demo · Electrical · Drywall · Texture Matching · Hardwood Floor Refinishing · Finish Carpentry · Painting
