Roman Shades Install

Project Story
The Challenge
An interior designer partner brought us in on a large University Park home to handle the technical side of a window treatment project — 10 electric roman shades across the upstairs bedrooms and a sprawling downstairs common area off the kitchen. The kind of job where the install has to be clean and seamless because the designer's reputation is riding on the finished product looking exactly like it did in the rendering.
The Solution
We installed all 10 motorized roman shades throughout the home, handling the electrical rough-in and connections needed to power each unit cleanly — no exposed wiring, no jury-rigged solutions. Each shade was mounted, wired, and tested for proper operation. Working alongside the designer meant coordinating on placement and timing so the install fit into the broader project schedule without holding up other trades.
The Result
All 10 shades operational, clean installs in every room, and a finish the designer could hand off to the client without any asterisks. The downstairs common area especially benefits from the motorized system — covering that much glass in a single common space manually would be a hassle every morning and night. The homeowner gets full light control with a button, and the designer gets another project in UP they can put in their portfolio.
