Water Damage Restoration

Project Story
The Challenge
Once the shower pan leak upstairs was fixed, the damage it left behind still needed to be dealt with. The ceiling below had taken on water long enough to grow mold — and that's not something you patch over and call it a day.
The Solution
We demoed the damaged drywall, treated and cleaned the mold, and sealed the affected area before anything new went up. After the surface was properly remediated, we hung new drywall on the ceiling, taped and mudded the seams, and textured to match the existing ceiling. Finished with primer and paint so you'd never know anything happened.
The Result
Clean ceiling, no mold, no trace of the repair. The texture match meant the homeowner didn't end up with a patch that sticks out every time the light hits it at the wrong angle. More importantly, the underlying cause was already handled — so this wasn't just a cosmetic fix slapped over a still-wet problem. Start to finish, the right order of operations.
